Ahhh. MONDAY, welcome back 🙁 Its that time of year again when lots of ladies get FALL colors in their hair OR go a little darker. Lots of people over the years have asked me where I get my hair colored. DOUGLAS J!! For over 16 years I have only gone there for hair color!!! The Aveda concept is the real deal, plus all the smells are GREAT! At Douglas J , their customer service and eager -to -please mentality makes the experience a step up from other places. Wondering how to go about seeing someone there? They go by LEVELS. I see Allison, she is a Level 3 in Okemos, MI. Level 1 is most cost effective, and Level 5 is typically a person that has been there a very long time and costs at the higher range. Sometimes trying someone that is fresh off the school and training floor isn’t that bad of an idea because they could have a new idea or fresh look for you, something that is “a hot style or color at the moment”. Call them or go online for all their locations and to book an appointment. I believe they are throughout Michigan at this point. If, you are ever visiting from out of the area, you don’t have to worry about ‘going to someone new’, they will take great care of you. They do wayyyy more then color too, they have a SPA.
